How to choose a wildlife removal company
Even if you don't hire us, ask these questions before you hire anyone. Not every company holds the same standard.
Reputation & service history
Check for online reviews. If a company has none, good or bad, there's a reason. Google Reviews and Angie's List are good places to look.
Licensing & certification
A Wildlife Damage Control Agent (WDCA) license is required to legally remove nuisance wildlife in North Carolina. Important detail: a general "wildlife control license" is not a WDCA license. Ask specifically.
Proof of insurance
An insured company minimizes your liability if there's an accident on your property. Ask for proof of insurance when you call. Any legitimate company expects the question. Carolina Wildlife Removal is insured, and if you hire someone else, please make sure they are too.
Pricing & rates
Be wary of companies that price bat-proofing per entry point, because the charges accumulate fast once work starts. We price by the job: a set price is agreed upon before the work begins.
Warranties & workmanship
A one-year warranty on bat-proofing isn't worth much, because wildlife tests your home every season. Most companies seal one entry point and guarantee it for 30 days. Our complete exclusion work is guaranteed for life with annual inspections: if wildlife re-enters where we sealed, we return at no extra charge. Always choose a company that stands behind its own work, in writing.
